IRONICALLY, IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT THESE SHOES
MAY NOT
FIT MANY VINTAGE REPRODUCTION BARBIES WITH HARD LEGS AND HOLES IN THEIR FEET, THE PROBLEM BEING THEY ARE TOO TIGHT ACROSS THE VAMP.  I WOULD ASSUME THE SAME MAY BE TRUE WITH ACTUAL TRUE VINTAGE DOLLS.
I DON'T HAVE ANY OF THESE DOLLS TO TRY THEM MYSELF, BUT DUE TO THIS BEING POINTED OUT TO ME, I AM PASSING ALONG THE INFORMATION TO YOU AS AN FYI.  I HAVE TRIED THE SHOES ON SEVERAL REPROS WITH STRAIGHT HARD LEGS WITH
NO HOLES
IN THEIR FEET, AND THEY WORK, THOUGH NOT PERFECTLY AND THEY ARE TIGHT.
THESE SHOES WERE NOT ORIGINALLY REMOVED FROM A DOLL, BUT INCLUDED IN A MATTEL SHOE PACK.  THAT LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THEY WERE PRODUCED FOR THE "NOVELTY" REASON OF GIVING COLLECTORS SHOES
REMINISCENT
OF THE FIRST BARBIES, BUT NOT NECESSARILY CREATED TO FIT ANY SPECIFIC DOLL.  THIS IS THE ONLY PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION THAT I CAN COME UP WITH.
WITH THAT SAID, I'VE MADE THE DECISION TO

RECOMMEND THESE SHOES FOR THE REPRO DOLLS WITH RUBBER LEGS AND FEET, BECAUSE I KNOW THEY FIT WELL.

Includes ONLY the
Reproduction
of the Hard to Find NAVY BLUE High Heel Mules with holes in the soles like those from 1959.  The ORIGINAL true vintage #1 Shoes had holes that were necessary to accommodate the 1st Barbie that had holes in her feet.  Her feet slipped onto a Two-prong stand, and the shoes had to have holes to match her feet and to work with the Prong Stand.  ALTHOUGH THESE ARE GENUINE MATTEL REPRODUCTIONS, THEY DO NOT NECESSARILY FIT REPRO DOLLS OR TRUE VINTAGE DOLLS WITH HOLES IN THEIR FEET.
Of course, your doll does NOT have to have holes in her feet in order to wear these shoes and I recommend them for the Rubbery Leg Reproduction Dolls ONLY!  ;o)

SHOES ARE MADE FOR THE VINTAGE REPRODUCTION BARBIES WITH RUBBER LEGS. They will also work with SOME vintage repro dolls with smooth hard legs, but they're not as nice a fit and may not stay on as well.  I haven't tried them on any other dolls so I can't say if they will fit others.
