Wheel Barometer Plate
Up for auction is an antique metal plate, that would have been the face of a Wheel Barometer.  The flat plate measures just over 9.5 inches across in diameter.  Stamped into the metal are some numbers, along with: "Change", "Fair", "Sett Fair", "Very Dry", "Stormy", "Much Rain" and "Rain".  In addition, inside of a small circle, is: "M Woller", "Edgbaston Stt" and "Birmm", which indicates that the Plate was part of a Barometer that would have been made by Matthew Woller, of Birmingham, England.
The metal plate is in good vintage condition, with overall tarnishing and staining to the metal, and no damage that I can detect, other than some scratching to the back side of the plate.
