Antique Victorian Dress White Lawn Eyelet

Description

This Victorian period, 1880, white lawn and eyelet lace dress also has delicate lace inserts and pin tucks throughout.  The waist is fitted, and the hips are narrow with a full and deep ruffle on the bottom 1/3rd of the dress.  The sleeves end just above the elbows.  It has a fairly high neckline. The dress might be a young girl's dress, someone in their early teens.  It is very small, a petite size 2.
The dress is in nice condition with no pit stains or other stains, no rust spots, holes or rips.  There are a couple of little areas where the lace inserts have come away from the edge.  These can be sewn back.  And, there are two hooks and eyes at the top back that have fray fabric underneath the edge which can be sewn down.  They do not show when the dress is done up.  I think that all of the hooks and eyes need to be replaced as they are very stiff and tight and difficult to do up and undo.
