Vintage Sheer Cream Silk Lace Slip Dress & Keyhole Neckline Blouse Top
This vintage sheer cream silk lace slip dress and keyhole neckline blouse top dates from the 1930s. It is made of an off white cream color sheer silk fine cobweb lace floral pattern fabric, with silk trim piping edging. This lovely lace two piece outfit includes a loose fitting slip style dress with adjustable shoulder straps, a full skirt with a crinoline lined bottom hemline, gathering under the arms, front side hook closures and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 46 inches long, with a 36 inch bust, 40 inch waist and 40 inch hips. Included is a matching lace fabric blouse top with a short cropped style, a keyhole neckline halter neck strap, short cap sleeves, hook closures down the back and is lined in a sheer net fabric. The top measures 15 inches long, with a 36 inch bust and 26 inch waist. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny breaks in the lace in one area of the skirt and some slight faint discoloration under the arms of the slip lining (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
