Item Description
Here is a nice looking Antique Ship's Wheel Barometer for your buying consideration.  Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself!
Nice barometer here that was made by AirGuide Instrument Company of Chicago, IL.  The piece dates to the 1960s to 1970s.
The nickel plated metal case is made to look like a ship's wheel.  Some minor finish loss to the nickel plating.
Cannot say if barometer are working as have had for a short period,
so saying not operational.
The needle has moved up a little from where at last night, but cannot say if moving, or reading accurately.
The glass over the barometer face is intact.
The metal case is intact, no dings or dents.  Some loss to the finish from time, wear and corrosion.
The Barometer is mounted on a beautiful mahogany plaque that has a lacquer finish on it.  Besides the barometer, a silver colored plaque that is the seal for the City of Philadelphia is affixed to the plaque as well.  Some minor finish loss to the Philadelphia plaque.
The Vintage Ship's Wheel Barometer on Plaque is 9.25" tall, by 7-3/16" across, by 3.25" wide.  The barometer by the spokes for the wheel is 6" across.
