Vintage Steer Cow Tooled Silver Tone Bolo * Western Cowboy Southwestern

Estate purchase.  Not marked.  It does act like sterling silver when I use the 'makeup' test.  I put powdered makeup on my arm, then rubbed the bolo over and it left a very dark gray residue (see last photo as example from rubbing the edge of the bolo against my arm).  The steer head is a light gold color - possibly a low karat weight gold?  But again, no markings as to metal content or maker.  Nice tooling design with some wear to it, indicating an older piece.  The clasp on the back where a cord (not included) would go is slightly bent - I did not attempt to straighten.  A neat piece for display or to wear!
